Becky has worked with the KSBDC since 1998. She grew up working in a family-owned small business, which led to running her own successful business for 10 years and serving as a director for a community leadership program. A graduate of Indiana University, Becky holds a Bachelor of Accountancy, along with a M.S. and Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology. In 1999, Becky was named KSBDC state director. Over the years Becky has been honored numerous times for her dedication to Kentucky’s entrepreneurs and small business owners, including the U.S. Small Business Administration Community
Leadership Award and the Lexington N.A.W.B.O. Hall of Fame Award. She has served as a member of the Small Business Advisory Commission, the A.S.B.D.C. Board of Directors and the University of Kentucky’s Women’s Forum.
Gordon has worked with the KSBDC since 2009, bringing over 25 years of experience at starting and growing technology companies. He has a B.S. in computer science, a B.B.A. in business and an M.B.A. with I.T. emphasis. He leads the Grow Kentucky – economic gardening team that assists Commonwealth businesses with focuses on strategic growth challenges, such as developing new markets, refining business models and gaining access to competitive intelligence. In 2010 Gordon was recognized as the Sutton Landry State Star and has been inducted into the Million Dollar Loan Club, a distinction honoring KSBDC consultants who have assisted with more than $1 million in loans. He is active in his community, participating with the YMCA of Central Kentucky. Away from the office Gordon enjoys cycling and spending time with family at his cabin on Lake Superior.

David came to the KSBDC in 1989 and hasn’t looked back. He has a B.S. in accounting from the University of Kentucky, is a highly respected CPA and years of experience counseling small businesses in Lexington. For all his dedication to number crunching, filing, proposal preparation and superb budgeting, he has received numerous accolades from KSBDC; in 2015 he received the Sutton Landry State Star award which honors an exemplary contributor to the organization. Away from the office, David enjoys playing guitar and a range of outdoor activities ranging from bass fishing, hunting, camping, and motorcycling to boating.

Dee Dee is responsible for the overall management and operations of the Kentucky Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC). She also provides marketing and procurement assistance to businesses interested in selling their services and products to the government. She has served the small business community for over fourteen years. In her effort to help businesses succeed, she has received the following recognitions: Kentucky Small Business Minority Advocate of the Year from the US Small Business Administration (SBA), Supplier Diversity Award from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council Southeast and Kentucky State Star Award from the Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC). She currently chairs the Governor’s Minority Employment, Business Affairs & Economic Development Council and serves as a Commissioner on the Lexington-Fayette County Parking Authority Board. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority – Beta Gamma Omega. When not at work, Dee Dee enjoys exercising, reading and spending time with family and friends.

Marge has worked with the KSBDC since 1983. She started as administrative staff for the Western Kentucky University SBDC. In 1986 she moved to Lexington, where she worked 16 years as administrative staff and communications coordinator for the Bluegrass SBDC and now has spent the past 13 years as MIS manager for the KSBDC Central Office. Marge has completed Microsoft and vendor computer software training, along with KSBDC professional development activities. She is the recipient of the Sutton Landry State Star award. Outside the office, Marge enjoys reading, attending her grandchildren’s activities and gardening.

Kevin Norvell has worked with the KSBDC for four years. Prior to joining the KSBDC, Kevin served as director of entrepreneurial development for East Kentucky Corporation, a regional economic development organization. He has also co-founded and operated several small businesses in the information technology and consumer electronics industries. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration. Kevin has been inducted into the Million Dollar Loan Club, a distinction honoring KSBDC consultants who have secured more than $1 million in loans and is a member of the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. When not at work, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, volunteering in his church and coaching youth sports.

Stephanie Guy has worked with the KSBDC for less than one year. She has experience in customer service, information technology and Web site design. Stephanie has received a MCSE Microsoft Certified Engineer Certificate from Sullivan University and is currently studying management and information design. She has also received several customer service awards through previous employers. When not at work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her five year-old watching Disney movies, coloring in her daughters many coloring books and tackling large jigsaw puzzles.
