Lois has worked with the Owensboro SBDC since 1999 and has nearly three decades experience in the business field. Lois’ goal at the KSBDC is to assist companies in controlling costs, promoting efficiency and streamlining operations. Her background includes owning a financial consulting company, plus working in both the utility industry and mortgage banking community. A graduate of Brescia University, Lois has a B.S. in accounting and graduated Cum Laude. Lois has her Export and Trade Counseling Certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration. She is active in her community, serving as an OCHS “band mom,” a Chamber member, Loudes Committee member, past PTO president, past PTO treasurer, and has served on several school and church committees. Away from the office Lois enjoys spending time with her children and cheering them on at various sporting competitions.
Tricia has worked with the KSBDC since 1988. Prior to joining the KSBDC, she worked as a student secretary for the engineering department at General Electric and as an assistant to several attorneys. Tricia has an A.D. in Legal Secretarial Administration. Away from the office, Tricia enjoys spending time with her family.

Joining the KSBDC in 2014, Alan has started and operated 10 different small businesses over the past 40 years. He received a B.S. in marketing from Brescia University, and has been an adjunct instructor of “Small Business Management” at the Henderson Community College for several years. The local Chamber of Commerce recognized him with the “Small Businessman of the Year” award and he has served as Board Chairman for several local organizations. Gov. Paul Patton appointed him to serve on the first Small Business Advocacy Commission, and he has served as a Henderson City Commissioner. Alan enjoys outdoor grilling, and loves to create new recipes for the grill. His other pastime is to take his grandchildren on fishing and hunting trips.
