Kim has worked with the SBDC since 1993, bringing years of experience ranging from human resources at Columbia Gas Transmission to owning and operating her own gift shop. She has a B.S. in business administration from Berea College; a masters of business education from Morehead State University and is a Certified Business Advisor from the University of Toledo. Kim has her Export and Trade Counseling Certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Her work has been recognized with several KSBDC honors, in 2000 as the Sutton Landry State Star and in 2008 with the Distinguished Staff Service Award at Morehead State University. Kim serves as vice president of a local non-profit organization, People Helping People, and oversees their annual college scholarship program. She married the love of her life, Steve, in June 2014. When not working, Kim enjoys traveling and playing board games with family and friends.
